Banking Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Banking Consultant to join our Albany Mall team. In this people‑focused role you will support everyday banking needs, build trusted relationships and guide customers through simple and sometimes life‑changing financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, hands‑on support across a range of everyday banking activities.
• Listen to each customer’s priorities and tailor service accordingly.
• Share knowledge of ANZ’s banking tools and digital services, introducing digital channels in an easy‑to‑understand way.
• Welcome customers, help with transactions, account openings, detail updates and product enquiries.
• Guide customers through the use of digital banking tools and empower them to use self‑service options.
• Maintain compliance with banking safety and regulatory practices.
• Collaborate with teammates, celebrate wins and contribute to a learning‑focused workplace.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, with retail experience considered an advantage.
• Comfort using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
