About the role
Kiwibank is looking for a Banking Assistant to join its Glenfield branch. This entry‑level position offers a solid foundation in financial services and the chance to grow into specialised areas such as home lending, IT or leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments and other routine transactions.
- Provide friendly, face‑to‑face service and guide customers on digital banking tools.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Support the branch team in achieving service targets and maintaining a secure environment.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented team player with strong numerical and administrative abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Willingness to work a 32‑hour week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 08:15‑16:45).
