Audit Intermediate / Senior – Mid‑tier Accounting Firm

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Intermediate or Senior to join a leading mid‑tier accounting firm in Auckland’s central business district. The successful candidate will work on diverse audit engagements across private multinational groups, ASX‑listed companies and not‑for‑profit organisations, collaborating closely with managers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end audit processes from planning through to delivery.
• Collaborate with audit managers to design and execute audit engagements.
• Engage directly with clients to gather information, discuss findings and provide recommendations.
• Assess internal controls and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Work closely with partners on complex audit matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of external audit experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Pursuing CA, CPA or an equivalent professional qualification.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of IFRS.
• Proficiency with audit standards.
