Associate Director – Workday HCM Consulting

About the role

Deloitte’s HR Strategy & Technology team is looking for an experienced Workday HCM Associate Director to lead functional delivery across multiple modules for clients in New Zealand. You will work with a world‑class consulting practice, guiding clients to maximise the value of their Workday investment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance on Workday HCM functional and technical capabilities.
• Scope client needs, run workshops and perform AS‑IS/TO‑BE and gap‑fit analyses.
• Lead business‑process re‑engineering and gather detailed business requirements.
• Design, configure and document Workday solutions across core and specialist modules.
• Test solutions, perform fit‑for‑purpose analysis and support post‑go‑live enhancements.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering Workday HCM implementations.
• Proven ability to lead engagements and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Current Workday certifications covering two or more modules.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
