Architect / Architectural Designer – Sydney

About the role

Our client, an internationally recognised architectural and design practice, is seeking an Architect or Architectural Designer with 5‑10 years of experience to join their Sydney studio. You will work on complex, large‑scale projects across transport, infrastructure, aviation, commercial, civic and master‑planning sectors, contributing from concept through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to project delivery across all design and documentation phases.
• Develop high‑quality design and presentation material.
• Produce and coordinate Revit documentation.
• Work closely with clients, consultants and external stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and presentations.
• Support project teams through technical coordination and design development.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines and project sectors.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of post‑graduate architectural experience.
• Experience or interest in infrastructure, aviation, rail, transportation, commercial and sport & recreation sectors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants and project teams.
• Confidence presenting ideas and design solutions to clients.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong design sensibility and graphical presentation skills.
• Experience across all project stages from concept design to construction documentation.
• Positive attitude, initiative and willingness to learn.
