About the role
We are seeking an Applied Quantitative Analyst to train and evaluate AI chat‑bot models. The role involves creating diverse mathematical problems, assessing the bots’ responses, and helping improve model quality. This is a remote, independent‑contractor position based in New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Design and present complex mathematics problems to AI chatbots.
- Evaluate the correctness, performance and logical consistency of the bots’ outputs.
- Measure progress of AI models and provide feedback for iterative improvement.
- Document evaluation results and suggest enhancements.
Required profile
- Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical mindset.
- Current, in‑progress, or completed Master’s or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
