Afternoon Shift Supervisor – Folding Team

About the role

We are seeking an Afternoon Shift Supervisor to lead our folding team at our Christchurch facility. You will oversee a small group of machine operators, ensuring smooth production of precision sheet‑metal components during the afternoon shift.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of machine operators on the folding line.
• Operate brake‑press folding and CNC machines when required.
• Coordinate work orders and prioritize tasks to meet production targets.
• Enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
• Keep the work area clean, organised and ready for the next shift.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brake‑press folding and CNC operation.
• Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Team‑player attitude with good communication skills.
• Desirable experience with turret punching or laser cutting.
