Accounting & Business Advisory Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Business Advisory Manager to lead a dynamic team in Auckland. The role combines compliance work with strategic advisory, offering the chance to shape client portfolios and mentor junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide business advisory, financial modelling, and strategic planning support to clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, cash‑flows and tax returns.
• Lead, mentor and develop junior staff and support teams.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring high‑quality service and practical advice.
• Contribute to business development, networking and growth initiatives.
• Participate in advisory projects such as valuations, acquisitions, restructurings and funding.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in accounting, taxation and business advisory services.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication abilities.
• Experience supervising teams and managing client portfolios.
• Motivation to deliver value‑adding solutions and support firm growth.
