About the role

We are looking for a technically strong Accountant to join our corporate team in Wellington. The role supports better healthcare outcomes across New Zealand by ensuring accurate financial reporting and month‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

Own balance‑sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of variances.
Manage the end‑to‑end month‑end process, including journals, accruals, pre‑payments and inter‑company transactions.
Deliver reliable financial reports to support business performance.
Contribute to financial modelling, planning and process improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders across a multi‑entity environment.

Required profile

CA (or equivalent) qualification with at least 3 years of financial accounting experience.
Strong hands‑on experience in reconciliations and month‑end ownership.
Proven ability to work in a multi‑entity or complex business environment.
Proactive, detail‑focused approach with stakeholder engagement skills.

Required skills

Advanced Excel.
Experience with Business Central (or similar ERP systems) – a plus.
