Accountant – Public Practice & Tax Services

About the role

Join Findex’s Gore team as an Accountant and support local businesses with a full range of accounting and tax services. You will work alongside experienced mentors in a people‑focused culture that encourages professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
• Complete GST, FBT and RWT returns accurately and on time.
• Meet deadlines, budgets and technical requirements with confidence.
• Utilise leading accounting systems to help clients optimise their software.

Required profile

• Proven accounting experience in public practice or a commercial organisation.
• CA or CPA qualification, or actively working towards it (desirable).
• Broad experience across tax, accounting and business matters.
• Strong analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to build positive client and colleague relationships.
