Account Manager – Industrial Solutions (NZ)

About the role

Graymont is looking for a driven, customer‑focused Account Manager to grow wallet share and expand market opportunities across New Zealand. Based in Hamilton, you will serve customers in construction, environmental, mining, pulp & paper, and water & wastewater sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a tactical sales plan for the New Zealand territory, meeting budgeted commercial objectives.
• Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility.
• Collaborate with other Account Managers and the Director of Marketing APAC to identify new customers and market trends.
• Organise selling and promotional activities, implement pricing policy, and apply Commercial Excellence tools.
• Work closely with plant, technical service, and customer service teams to ensure product quality and service expectations.
• Use Salesforce CRM for quoting, pipeline management, and customer interaction tracking.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales budgets and generate new leads.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and competitor data.
• Excellent communication and confident presentation style.
• Experience in industrial or technical sales, preferably within mining, construction, or building products.
• Contract tendering experience is an advantage but not essential.
