About the role
Allen Custom Drills is seeking a Welding Engineer to join a tight, supportive team that builds world‑class air seeder drills. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Ashburton, and offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on quality and innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on drill components, ensuring high‑quality welds.
- Fabricate parts directly from CAD drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and improve welding processes.
- Maintain safety standards and documentation for all welding activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on MIG welding experience.
- Ability to interpret and work from CAD designs.
- Willingness to work on‑site full‑time in Ashburton.
