Wastewater Reticulation Operator – Rolleston

About the role

Join CORDE’s Water Services team in Rolleston as a Wastewater Operator. You can work on wastewater reticulation, travelling across the Selwyn district to maintain pumps and mechanical equipment, or focus on treatment plant operations, performing laboratory testing and process assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pumps and other mechanical equipment across the Selwyn district.
• Conduct laboratory testing and assess wastewater treatment processes.
• Follow health and safety procedures and take direction from supervisors.
• Travel to various sites as required and ensure reliable service delivery.

Required profile

• Background in wastewater operations or a Level 4 Wastewater Qualification (advantageous).
• Class 1 Driver Licence (essential).
• Mechanically minded, reliable and able to work on a variety of tasks.
• Physically fit, self‑motivated and health‑and‑safety conscious.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
