Warehouse Supervisor – £33,000 per year

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient and accurate handling of goods to support production and customer delivery. You will manage stock flow, supervise staff and drive continuous improvement in a technology‑led manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee receiving, storage, picking and dispatch activities.
• Ensure goods are booked, inspected and stored correctly using ERP systems.
• Maintain optimal stock levels, manage kitting and control FIFO, batch and serialisation.
• Conduct regular stock counts, audits, KPI reporting and resolve discrepancies.
• Supervise, train and develop warehouse operatives, conduct appraisals and support personal development.
• Enforce health and safety standards, PPE use and equipment maintenance (forklifts, pallet trucks).
• Implement lean practices, optimise layout and material flow.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, documentation and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising warehouse operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of stock control, inventory accuracy and ERP usage.
• Ability to lead, train and develop a team while ensuring safety compliance.
• Focus on continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
