Warehouse Storeperson - Spare Parts

About the role

Fisher & Paykel is looking for a Storeperson to join its Auckland Distribution Centre team in East Tamaki. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Supervisor, you will help ensure products are safely received, stored, picked and dispatched to customers. It is a hands-on position in a fast-paced warehouse, with a shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick and dispatch products accurately and efficiently
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, shipping containers and rail containers
• Carry out stock control, including cycle counts and inventory management
• Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively
• Complete warehouse administration and documentation as required
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse operating processes
• Support the wider warehouse team with general duties as required

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
• Confidence working at heights of up to 13 metres
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Willingness to learn, develop and contribute to continuous improvement

Required skills

• Desirable but not essential: stockpicker licence, forklift licence, and experience with reach trucks, counterbalance or clamp trucks
• Desirable but not essential: experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
