Virtual Fencing Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Virtual Fencing Support Specialist to join Halter, a Kiwi AgriTech startup pioneering world‑first virtual fencing technology. Based in Morrinsville, you will work on‑site at the intersection of software and livestock management, helping farmers adopt and optimise our innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers deploying virtual fencing systems on farms.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in real‑time, both on‑site and remotely.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay field feedback and improve system performance.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end‑users.
• Monitor system data to ensure fence reliability and animal safety.

Required profile

• Strong interest in agriculture technology and livestock management.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and communicate technical concepts clearly.
