Vehicle Sales Assistant – Full Time

About the role

South Canterbury Toyota is looking for a motivated Vehicle Sales Assistant to join its busy sales team. This full‑time position supports the dealership’s consultants and finance team, ensuring every customer enjoys a smooth and professional experience from first contact to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Vehicle Consultants and the in‑house Finance & Insurance Manager with daily tasks.
• Handle sales and vehicle administration, including paperwork and data entry.
• Manage customer communications via phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Prepare and maintain vehicle listings, ensuring accurate presentation and information.
• Provide a seamless, customer‑focused journey throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• Positive, reliable and proactive attitude.
• Genuine desire to enhance the customer experience.
• Current full NZ driver’s licence.
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
