About the role

Join Philip Morris International as a Territory Sales Executive responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail customers across South Auckland. This field‑based role focuses on building strong retailer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and executing PMI’s commercial strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers in the assigned territory.
• Identify opportunities to increase distribution, visibility, and sales performance.
• Execute trade programmes, promotional activities, and in‑store initiatives.
• Develop and implement territory plans to meet sales and commercial targets.
• Analyse sales data and market insights to spot growth opportunities and risks.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain an effective call cycle.
• Negotiate and influence outcomes in line with company objectives.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver commercial initiatives.
• Maintain accurate customer records using company systems and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field sales, territory or account management, or a similar customer‑facing commercial role.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
• Strong organisational, planning and time‑management capabilities.
• Proactive, customer‑focused problem‑solver who can work independently.
