Technical Software Support

About the role

Join Siemens Healthineers as a Technical Software Support professional, providing remote assistance for the Varian oncology software suite. You will help healthcare providers keep critical treatment systems running smoothly while contributing to a global, diverse team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests remotely and diagnose incidents.
• Troubleshoot issues across Windows/Linux, networking, and infrastructure layers.
• Escalate complex cases when necessary.
• Restore systems to normal operation quickly to minimise downtime.
• Record all support activities accurately in the CRM system.
• Assist with installations, upgrades, maintenance and customer training.
• Follow WHS, quality and company procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple IT layers, networks, and Windows/Linux environments.
• Experience with Windows Server, networking and virtual environments.
• Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Previous experience in medical IT is preferred.
