Technical Software Support

About the role

Join Siemens Healthineers as a Technical Software Support professional, providing remote assistance for the Varian oncology software suite. You will use your IT expertise to diagnose, resolve, and minimise downtime for customers across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests remotely and troubleshoot incidents.
• Escalate complex cases when required and restore systems to normal operation quickly.
• Document all support activities accurately in the CRM system.
• Assist with software installations, upgrades, maintenance, and customer training.
• Follow WHS, quality, and company procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in medical IT is preferred.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours when needed.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting across multiple IT layers, networks, and infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Server, networking, and virtual environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Citrix, Microsoft Azure, or Linux‑based environments.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
