About the role
The Hawke's Bay Regional Council is seeking an Intermediate GIS Analyst to join its Information & Communication Technology team. In this on‑site, full‑time position you will support Council initiatives by delivering reliable GIS services and spatial solutions that improve internal processes and customer experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality GIS services and technical support to staff across the Council.
- Maintain and enhance GIS systems and data to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Develop spatial solutions that empower users and drive service improvements.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate GIS data into broader projects.
Required profile
- Intermediate level experience in GIS analysis.
- Ability to work on‑site in Napier Central.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering reliable data.
