About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader to manage its Hastings store. In this fast‑paced retail environment you will inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain high visual standards, and achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative team culture, providing coaching, training and clear communication.
• Maintain impeccable shop‑floor standards, including stock presentation, ticketing and visual merchandising.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures and health & safety compliance.
• Drive sales performance by motivating the team to meet and exceed KPIs.
• Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring a memorable shopping experience.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand positively within the local community.

Required profile

• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
• Confident motivator with a proven ability to inspire and develop staff.
• Experienced across retail functions such as stock control and visual merchandising.
• Strong communicator who can give constructive feedback.
• Proactive, results‑driven and trustworthy team player.
