Team Leader – Premium Retail (NZ)

About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking a confident and passionate Team Leader to guide and inspire its retail team in Onehunga, delivering exceptional customer service, visual merchandising and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development: Foster a collaborative environment, coach and mentor staff, communicate clearly and provide product knowledge.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain shop‑floor standards, oversee daily opening/closing duties, drive visual merchandising and ensure health & safety.
• Sales & Performance: Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, identify growth opportunities for staff.
• Customer Experience: Set and uphold high service standards, resolve concerns promptly, represent the brand and build community connections.

• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
• Confident motivator who can inspire others.
• Experienced across retail functions including stock control and visual merchandising.
• Strong communicator able to give constructive feedback.
• Proactive, results‑driven with a track record of achieving goals.
