About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking a confident and passionate Team Leader to drive a high‑performing retail team in its Onehunga store. You will inspire colleagues, ensure operational excellence, and create a welcoming shopping environment that consistently exceeds customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a collaborative team, delivering clear communication and up‑to‑date product knowledge.
• Maintain impeccable shop‑floor standards, oversee daily opening/closing duties and visual merchandising.
• Prioritise health and safety for staff and customers.
• Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs, identifying growth opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve issues promptly and represent the brand positively.
• Build relationships within the local community to enhance the store’s welcoming atmosphere.
