About the role

Deloitte New Zealand is expanding its Tax and Business Advisory team in Auckland. The firm is looking for experienced tax professionals to join specialist groups covering corporate, international, M&A, and research & development tax advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, commercial tax advice to a diverse client base.
• Stay up‑to‑date with New Zealand tax legislation and international tax developments.
• Deliver solutions on corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, customs duties, and R&D tax credits.
• Collaborate with senior managers to support mergers, acquisitions, and complex tax restructurings.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Tax, Law or a related discipline.
• Professional services experience with a focus on tax.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
