Talent Acquisition Business Partner

About the role

Watercare is seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join its high‑performing recruitment team. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will partner with leaders across the organisation to attract, engage and hire the talent needed to support the company’s $14 billion, ten‑year investment plan.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and guide them through the recruitment process.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for a complex, high‑volume portfolio of roles.
• Proactively source candidates and develop talent pipelines for critical and hard‑to‑fill positions.
• Support employer branding and talent‑attraction initiatives.
• Deliver an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Individual Employment Agreements and Collective Agreements.
• Identify and implement improvements to recruitment processes, systems and ways of working.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and resilient recruitment professional thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven internal recruitment experience within a complex organisation.
• Experience partnering with leaders to achieve effective hiring outcomes.
• Background recruiting across trades, operational, frontline and blue‑collar roles.
• Strong capability managing high‑volume, business‑critical and hard‑to‑fill recruitment.
• Confidence to influence, coach and challenge stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills, adaptability and attention to detail.
