Talent Acquisition Advisor – Early Careers & Recruitment

About the role

BDO New Zealand is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join its Auckland CBD office. In this fast‑paced position you will coordinate national Early Careers campaigns, manage the Sir Henare Ngata Scholarship programme and support employer‑branding initiatives across the BDO network.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute BDO NZ’s annual Early Careers recruitment campaigns in partnership with member firms.
• Lead the Sir Henare Ngata Scholarship programme, handling communications, governance and stakeholder engagement.
• Support employer‑branding activities across digital, campus and talent‑attraction channels.
• Create and publish employer‑brand content and campaign materials.
• Provide recruitment advisory support to member firms throughout the end‑to‑end hiring lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships across the BDO network and contribute to the People & Capability community.
• Share recruitment insights, market trends and best practices using campaign data.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, sourcing or early‑careers programmes.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strong organisational, project‑coordination and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment and manage competing priorities.
• Collaborative, adaptable and aligned with BDO’s values.
• Professional‑services experience and a relevant tertiary qualification are advantageous.
