About the role
Geneva Healthcare provides in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation, nursing, mental health and disability support services. It is looking for an empathetic, passionate and motivated Support Worker to join its team in the Dunedin area. The role is permanent part-time.
Key responsibilities
- Help clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives through practical and emotional support
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Medication support
- Personal care such as showering and toileting
- Manual handling and hoist transfers
- Home management tasks
Required profile
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others
- Previous healthcare or caregiving experience preferred but not essential
- Healthcare qualifications advantageous
- Full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport (for most roles)
- Right to work in New Zealand and willingness to undergo police vetting and other checks

- Pay of $23.97 to $29.68 per hour, plus a $2 per hour weekend allowance
