Software Test Engineer

About the role

Cloudscape, a fast‑growing Kiwi team now part of the John Deere family, is looking for a Software Test Engineer to join its expanding QA group. You will work on a sophisticated web application that combines massive geospatial data, drone imagery, 3D models and real‑time project feeds for large‑scale construction projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce and quantify defects.
• Partner with product owners to design realistic test scenarios.
• Execute manual test plans and test cases across the full application stack.
• Create and maintain regression test suites and procedures.
• Explore new technologies as needed to support QA objectives.
• Become a product expert and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computing or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously in a flexible, trust‑based environment.
