Software Developer – Senior & Intermediate

About the role

Sharesies is expanding its in‑house engineering team and is looking for both senior and intermediate software developers to help build and scale core systems that power its wealth‑building platform. You will work on bespoke, high‑impact solutions in a collaborative, flat‑structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain critical backend services that support millions of users.
• Scale in‑house systems, ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Influence technical decisions (senior) and mentor less‑experienced engineers.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies as needed.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with an ability to reason about complex systems.
• Experience with at least one backend language such as Python, C# or similar.
• Curiosity and adaptability – you can pick up new languages quickly.
• Effective communicator who asks good questions and challenges ideas constructively.
• Team‑oriented, eager to learn, and motivated by work that matters.
