Site Manager – Cromwell

About the role

WasteCo NZ Ltd is seeking an experienced operations leader to take charge of its Cromwell site. The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering efficient services to support the company’s waste management operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all site operations, including waste collection, processing, and disposal.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety policies.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to boost efficiency.
• Manage site resources, including equipment, supplies, and personnel schedules.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing operational sites within manufacturing, transport, or logistics environments.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time in Cromwell, Otago.
