ServiceNow Consultant – Technology Consulting

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Consultant to join its growing ServiceNow practice in New Zealand. The role is hybrid, based in Auckland or Wellington, and focuses on delivering AI‑enabled business transformation for leading organisations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement ServiceNow solutions across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to hyper‑care.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business needs into scalable, user‑centric ServiceNow platforms.
• Develop and configure using ServiceNow technologies such as JavaScript/Glide scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, UI Builder and Service Portal.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions, providing technical recommendations to architects and delivery leads.
• Support platform upgrades, instance health reviews and adherence to ServiceNow best‑practice guidelines.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and provide knowledge‑transfer and training.
• Coach junior consultants, graduates and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Stay current with ServiceNow innovations, AI capabilities and industry trends.

Required profile

• Senior‑level consultant with strong technical expertise in ServiceNow.
• Enjoys combining technical work with client engagement and consulting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with on‑shore and off‑shore delivery teams.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
