Service Desk Analyst

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer‑focused IT support professional to join Southern Cross Healthcare’s Digital Services team. You will be the first point of contact for digital service requests and incidents, helping staff across Aotearoa access the tools they need to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support via phone, email and in‑person channels for desktop, application, hardware and user‑access issues.
• Log, manage, escalate and resolve incidents, service requests and problem tickets from start to finish.
• Support user provisioning, application maintenance, hardware, mobile devices and remote assistance.
• Participate in project deployment work and gain exposure to enterprise technologies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an IT service desk or technical support role, ideally 3+ years in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.
• Understanding of ITIL best practices and experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus.
