Service Design Architect – Operate Service Architect

About the role

Deloitte Technology & Transformation is seeking an experienced Service Design Architect to join the Operate team in Auckland. You will design and shape scalable managed‑service solutions that align client outcomes with Deloitte’s delivery capabilities, risk appetite and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of end‑to‑end managed‑service solutions across complex, multi‑year engagements.
• Translate client requirements into practical service models, operating models, governance structures and delivery approaches.
• Define service boundaries, pricing structures and scalability criteria.
• Support sales pursuits through solution shaping, pricing and stakeholder engagement to ensure commercial competitiveness.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in managed services, outsourcing or Operate delivery models.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, multi‑year engagements.
• Strong understanding of service management, operating models and global delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
