Senior Structural BIM Detailer

About the role

We are seeking a senior Structural BIM Detailer to join our engineering team in Napier Central. The role will focus on delivering detailed BIM models for complex commercial projects, supporting increased production across our national branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality structural BIM models for commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate with design, engineering and construction teams to ensure model accuracy and compliance.
• Produce detailed drawings and documentation directly from BIM models.
• Support the rollout of BIM standards and best practices across multiple sites.
• Mentor junior BIM staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in structural BIM detailing for commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and engineering documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
