Senior Software Engineer – Platform Lead

About the role

We are looking for a senior software engineer to lead the design and delivery of core engineering platforms that power the wider organisation. In this role you will move beyond customer‑facing features and focus on building reusable frameworks, tooling and standards that enable development teams to ship software faster and more securely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build reusable platform components, frameworks, and shared services.
• Create and maintain “golden pathways” that guide development best practices.
• Develop secure, scalable building blocks for multiple engineering teams.
• Drive adoption of platform tooling and frameworks across the organisation.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines, templates, and developer tooling.
• Promote consistency, scalability, and security across engineering practices.
• Provide technical leadership and influence platform strategy and direction.

Required profile

• Strong development experience with C# and .NET in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience building reusable frameworks, libraries, or SDKs.
• Experience working with GitHub or similar version‑control tooling.
• Hands‑on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud‑native and scalable platform design.
• Experience operating at a lead level within engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Exposure to security best practices within enterprise environments.
