About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join a modern SAP landscape on a 9‑month contract in Auckland. You will work across S/4HANA, SAP CRM and SAP Business Technology Platform, delivering high‑quality extensions and integrations within an Agile delivery framework.

Key responsibilities

Lead technical design initiatives and mentor the development team.
Build and maintain ABAP Cloud (RAP) extensions and BTP‑based solutions.
Design, implement and support complex SAP integrations (IDocs, BAPIs, REST/SOAP APIs).
Ensure code quality through TDD, performance tuning and adherence to SAP best practices.
Develop and optimise SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 applications and OData services.

Required profile

Minimum 6 years of hands‑on ABAP development experience.
Strong expertise in ABAP OO, RAP, and the ABAP Cloud development model.
Proficiency with SAP HANA (AMDP, SQLScript) and core modules such as FI/CO, MM or SD.
Comfortable working in fast‑paced Agile environments.
