Senior Salesforce Consultant – Auckland

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a Senior Salesforce Consultant to join its Technology and Transformation Business Unit in Auckland. You will design and deliver large‑scale Salesforce solutions that help public‑sector clients modernise their operations and achieve strategic digital goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement Salesforce solutions across regulatory and operational processes.
• Develop scalable customisations using best‑practice patterns, including Apex and Lightning Web Components.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Work with analysts, developers, testers and product owners throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support successful delivery in complex public‑sector environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant or Engineer.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA, Business Informatics) or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Required skills

• Salesforce platform expertise (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
• Automation using Salesforce Flows.
• Hands‑on development with Apex and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience with DevOps, source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Copado and Heroku.
• Current Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I, Heroku Architecture Designer, Agentforce Specialist, Copado Administrator).
