Senior Production Planner

About the role

Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Production Planner to support the manufacturing of Electron rockets and satellite systems at its Auckland facility. You will coordinate production schedules, optimise workflows and ensure timely delivery of materials to keep critical space missions on track.

Key responsibilities

• Champion schedule adherence through daily detailed scheduling and planning of work orders.
• Support production teams to achieve on‑time delivery of dependent demands in line with the Master Production Schedule.
• Maintain accurate shop‑floor inventory positions, working closely with manufacturing engineering and inventory control to resolve raw‑material and semi‑finished‑goods discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the broader Supply Chain organisation to align material flow, procurement and shipping activities.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented, proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment.
• Senior‑level experience in production planning or a related manufacturing function.
