SAP Logistics Lead – Fixed‑Term Role

About the role

Lagom is seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Lead to drive end‑to‑end SAP Logistics solutions for a range of New Zealand clients. This fixed‑term position offers the chance to shape SAP SCM, MM, SD, WM and EWM implementations from design through go‑live and support while mentoring junior consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑lifecycle SAP Logistics projects across Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize and Deploy phases.
• Design, configure and implement solutions in SAP SCM, MM, SD, WM and EWM.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define scope, requirements and target‑state architecture.
• Translate business needs into SAP‑aligned designs using best‑practice templates.
• Support testing activities, UAT, cut‑over, go‑live, hyper‑care and ongoing production support.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and deliver sustainable fixes within SLA.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
• Assist pre‑sales teams with workshops, fit‑gap analysis, estimates, proposals and Statements of Work.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of SAP functional consulting experience with a logistics focus.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.
• SAP certification in one or more logistics modules (MM, SD, WM, EWM, SCM) preferred.
• Proven track record leading full‑lifecycle SAP implementations, upgrades and support.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Logistics, SAP Fiori, SAP GUI and SAP Solution Manager.
• Experience preparing blueprints, functional specifications, process flows, test strategies and cut‑over plans.
• Excellent documentation, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Willingness to work across multiple engagements and spend time in the Auckland office as required.
