Sales Executive - Outside Sales

About the role

The Outside Sales Executive will promote and sell CMA CGM Group shipping and related services across New Zealand. You will work directly with customers, develop new business opportunities and help grow market share for a leading global container shipping company.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of customers, identifying revenue‑growth opportunities.
• Prospect, secure and onboard new clients while expanding business with existing accounts.
• Conduct regular on‑site visits and sales calls to strengthen relationships and uncover commercial opportunities.
• Promote a range of services including shipping, intermodal, e‑commerce and value‑added solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics or a related industry.
• Proven success in sales, business development or customer relationship management.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently.
