Sales Executive – Lower North Island

About the role

Reporting to the Sales Manager – NZ, the Sales Executive will split time between business development and account management, focusing on growth across Auckland and the Lower North Island. The first six months are Auckland‑based to build market knowledge before expanding regionally.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new customers across Auckland and the Lower North Island.
• Drive revenue growth against regional targets.
• Maintain a strong field presence and manage existing accounts.
• Strengthen customer retention through proactive engagement and service delivery.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Manage territory pipeline, forecasting and CRM accuracy.
• Collaborate with wider NZ and Fresh divisions and align with sales leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in both new business development and account management.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage territory performance.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable covering a broad region.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or fresh produce sectors is preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
• Pipeline and forecast management.
