Sales Assistant – Retail (NZ) – Expression of Interest

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic retail sales assistants to join our NZ stores under the Platypus Shoes brand. You will work closely with store management to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and uphold operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Management team in achieving sales targets.
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly service to customers.
• Maintain store visual standards and stock organization.
• Handle transactions and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Demonstrated customer service experience in retail, hospitality or similar.
• Passion for streetwear and sneaker culture.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, energetic team environment.
• Self‑motivated with a commitment to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Full availability for late‑night trade and weekends.
