Risk Advisory Specialist

About the role

Join IAG’s Line 2 Risk Advisory and Assurance team as a Risk Advisory Specialist. In this permanent full‑time position you will analyse risk information, collaborate with stakeholders and help drive well‑informed decisions that protect customers, communities and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior specialists to deliver risk insights aligned with IAG’s risk appetite, policies and frameworks.
• Support oversight of conduct and operational risks, including technology, third‑party, business continuity, fraud, projects and data.
• Gather information on risk events, assess management responses and identify potential gaps.
• Contribute to risk assessments and deep‑dive analyses by documenting observations.
• Help raise risk maturity by promoting understanding of the risk‑management lifecycle across the business.

Required profile

• Experience in consulting, risk, governance, assurance or a related environment.
• Strong critical thinking and judgement with the ability to spot gaps, risks and exposures.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to respectfully challenge and influence.
• Collaborative mindset with a genuine desire to learn and contribute to team success.
• Ability to translate information into clear, practical insights.
