Rentals & Logistics Coordinator (12 months fixed term)

About the role

Crown Equipment is a global forklift company with 43+ years in New Zealand, covering 15 branches across the country. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role working Monday to Friday, based in the East Tamaki branch in East Auckland. You will support rental and logistics operations across Auckland and Whangarei, helping the sales team strengthen customer relationships and grow the Lift Truck Rental, Sales and Service market share by planning, coordinating and managing the day-to-day deliveries and collections of new, used, rental, trade-in and service units.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate transport for delivery and/or collection of purchased and rental lift trucks in the Auckland and Northland regions
• Ensure rental lift trucks are correctly tagged and meet customer expectations for delivery and quality
• Schedule lift trucks in advance, working with the service team to meet quality expectations
• Collaborate with all departments to plan the transportation schedule proactively
• Create and process dockets for all lift trucks, keeping information accurate
• Handle stocktaking and asset control

Required profile

• Ideally operational administration experience in warehousing, equipment hire, distribution or logistics
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to talk to customers, technicians and service managers
• Professional attitude, solutions-focused mindset and strong focus on customer outcomes
• Must be legally entitled to live and work permanently in New Zealand
• A current full New Zealand driver's licence is required
