Remuneration Specialist (20 hours per week)

About the role

We are seeking a Remuneration Specialist to join Transpower’s People & Culture team on a 20‑hour‑per‑week, hybrid basis. This 12‑month fixed‑term position will focus on delivering fair, evidence‑based pay decisions and enhancing our remuneration framework.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse compensation data and market trends to support pay equity.
• Apply Korn Ferry job evaluation methodology to assess role levels.
• Collaborate with HR partners to develop and maintain remuneration policies.
• Provide data‑driven insights for salary budgeting and forecasting.
• Support the implementation of people‑analytics tools related to compensation.

Required profile

• Experience in remuneration, compensation analysis or related HR functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret quantitative data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team.
