Relationship Associate (Business Banking)

About the role

The Relationship Associate supports Relationship Managers in the Business Banking division, helping customers access banking solutions and insights while developing strong risk‑management, credit and relationship capabilities. This position is designed for emerging talent with the potential to progress into Relationship Management.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to, respect and value customers to understand their business requirements and service needs.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, senior managers and product partners to design and deliver appropriate customer solutions.
• Provide financial analysis and interpret customer information to ensure accurate credit decisions.
• Assist in maintaining and growing the customer base by building strong relationships and delivering effective solutions.
• Deliver insights that help customers succeed.
• Connect with internal and external stakeholders across sectors to build a network of advocates.

Required profile

• Experience building strong stakeholder and customer relationships in a service‑delivery environment.
• Strong analytical ability to assess and interpret financial information and trends.
• Background in finance, lending, or credit‑related roles.
• Understanding of security structures and lending security arrangements.
• Experience within the banking and financial services industry.
