Registered Nurse

About the role

Join Maxwell Lifecare, a 25‑bed care home in sunny Blenheim, as a Registered Nurse. You will provide exceptional, compassionate care to residents while working within a culturally diverse and supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of caregivers to deliver high‑quality care.
• Develop, monitor and update individual care plans for residents.
• Conduct clinical assessments and ensure accurate documentation.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families and general practitioners.
• Support clinical services and care home managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or abroad.
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) in New Zealand.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for caring for older adults and a collaborative team spirit.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and care planning.

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in aged‑care settings.
