Registered Nurse (Full Time) – Levin

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join the team at Levin Home for War Veterans. You will work rostered and rotating shifts in a peer‑supported environment, delivering high‑quality care to older residents and ensuring they have a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person‑centred nursing care to residents.
• Work rostered and rotating shifts, including weekends and nights.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and documentation.
• Support and, when required, lead other staff under delegated authority.

Required profile

• NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• At least 2 years full‑time equivalent RN experience caring for older adults in NZ (preferred).
• Enthusiastic, patient, well‑organised with strong interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the values of empathy, compassion and respect.
• Ability to work independently; sole‑charge experience is an advantage but not essential.

Required skills

• InterRAI (training will be provided if not already known).
