Registered Nurse – Full-Time in New Zealand

About the role

We are seeking UK‑trained Registered Nurses to join New Zealand’s primary healthcare system on a permanent, full‑time basis. This role offers the chance to deliver patient‑centred care in a supportive environment while enjoying the country’s outstanding lifestyle and a clear pathway to residency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality primary healthcare to diverse patient populations.
• Diagnose, manage and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
• Lead preventative health initiatives and health‑promotion activities.
• Build long‑term therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve community health outcomes.
• Deliver culturally responsive care, respecting Maori and other community values.

Required profile

• Recognised nursing qualification (UK‑trained) and current registration.
• Eligibility for New Zealand work visa or participation in the Green List Occupation pathway.
• Commitment to patient‑centred, culturally aware practice.
• Willingness to relocate to urban, regional, coastal or rural settings across New Zealand.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and diagnosis.

• Health promotion and preventative care.
• Cultural competence, especially with Maori concepts of whakawhanaungatanga.
